REMATCH!!!...sort of... - I'm trying out my "the man" character

[Therin]

Jondyn floats back and to the side quickly and the ground where he was erupts as the crossed claw marks hit. abruptly, sonething comes flying from the whirling Handsman, straight as Azurel. It is a small dart, tipped with poison. Three others follow it in quick succession.

[Azurel]

Azurel sees the darts and is quick to react. He opens a small portal infront of each of them. The other end of the portals all face Jondyn. The darts pass through and shoot straight at Jondyn from different angles. The portals close as soon as the darts are through.

[Therin]

Bloody wizard, thinks Jondyn as he vaporizes the darts with ease. Man, I wish I didn't have to do this. I feel like it's cheating, he thinks, turning off one of his swords. He slowly takes a sphere about the size fo a tennis ball out of his coat, careful not to let it fly out from centripedal force, and, pushing a small red button on it, throws it away from himself. Before it hits the ground, the sphere grows to the size of a bowling ball, red light blinking, and vanishes, appearing behing Azurel and launching a volley of concussive sonic blasts at the flying elemental's head. Jondyn reignites his sword and continues to whirl.

[Azurel]

The blasts hit the shield that erected itself around Azurel earlier, doing nothing more than pushing Azurel forward little by little. Azurel turns around to see what's nagging him. Azurel attempts to open a small black hole on the inside of the machine, nothing happens. What's with this thing? he thinks. He shrugs as he creates many square portals that surround the machine. They lock into position leaving no room inbetween each one.

[Therin]

The thing floats toward one corner of it's "cage", then passes through quickly as the energy-consuming black holes are nullified by the practice sphere's anti-energy field. As soon as it is out it vanishes, reappearing behind Azurel again. A small, high powered cutting laser projector extends from the side of the sphere and directs its beam at Azurel.
