I totally agree. I bought it Tuesday before I left for San Fran and it's been my sole distraction! I love it.
I'm on World 6 right now. I've completed world 1 and 2 as far as stages and coins go and I'm loving this game! |

I love the new ghost houses and the fact that they kept the "old school" feeling in tact. I was able to skip from World 1 to 5 and then again to 8 through the power of secret exits. I am now in the process of collecting all the coins and buying new backgrounds.
I could go on and on about how much fun The New Super Mario Bros. are but I'll touch on the Multiplayer portion. FUN, Oh HELLA FUN. First up, you only need one cartridge. Beyond the dozens and dozens of minigames (Some of which are exclusive to vs mode), there's the Mario vs. Luigi mode which is amazingly addictive chunks of fun. |

Yeah I've actually skipped actually using the warp cannons b/c I want to solve everything. I also went back to world 2 and found the route to world 4. I'm currently in there getting all the coins and paths and st00ff!
This game is more fun than I could have originally imagined and I'm delighted I got it.
Oh... and you never have to worry about getting game over b/c by the time you get to world 2, you have 90 something lives!
The fact that you can get 12 men in the green mushroom house is fun. I think I've done that 3 or 4 times now.
And if you really wanna have a good time with mushroom houses... make sure you finish a stage ending in 2 of the same number (ie 122, 244, 366). When you do that, you get fireworks and a mushroom house of some sort... I think 1, 2 and 3 are the red one... 4, 5 and 6 are the green one, and 7, 8 and 9 are the megamario one... soemthing like that.
Either way... fun times! Brand new game with an really fun old skool feel. |

What's cool is once you beat World 8 you can save the game at any point. I did that as fast as I could to make coin collecting easier. |

I have all the coins from worlds 1-5.
I only unlocked like 2 of the cannons though.
Damn secret paths.
World 7 is a complete whore...Only it took the money off the nightstand BEFORE the sex.
Granted the giant caterpillar was fun...I just hate the moving platforms. |

I'm with you on world 7 Gaaz
I'm now completly done with worlds 1-6.
On 7 now. Finished the first 4 stages getting all coins (if I remember right).
I didn't know about the save anytime thing. That's pretty cool. |

Yea it's alot easier for specific power requirements for levels to reach shortcuts or Coins. I'm almost done completely. I've beaten every level, I'm just trying to collect a scant few coins that require mini or turtle mario. |
