Airius vs. Musashi - Training day

[Musashi]

Musashi leaps back from Rev into the air. Hovering, he raises his hand above his head, palm upward. His hand begins to glow white with holy light. Lightning strikes his hand from the sky, illuminating his body in white and yellow. Clenching his fist, he forms a white spike of holy lightning energy and hurls it like a javelin at the awaiting priest.

Rev finishes cutting himself away at the last moment, but his cape gets ripped when passing through the Holy Spike.

"Musashi! You are so paying for my dry cleaning bills!" Green Mod power crackles around Reverend as he stands to face his opponent, hovering in the distance. A flash of annoyance crosses Revs face, but gradually melts to an expression of calm. Placing one foot forward, Reverend begins to walk towards Musashi, appearing to walk on the very air itself. Once reaching Musashi's height, Rev pauses to look at the Holy Dragoon.

"Propulsion by ordering molecules to support me. Works rather well actually." Reverend resumes his combat stance and glares at his opponent. "I thank you for this Musashi, and I will admit you are more powerful than I ever thought possible." His grip around Ruler tightens, and his arm pulls back. "But I will not stop till I can move no more." Ruler snaps from Rev's hand, and right behind the deadly projectile comes the priest with Anarchy ready to slice.

"Until you can't move....that can be arranged."

Musashi clipped Luminaire onto his back and held his hands in front of him, making a triangle from his fingers. With his eyes closed he bagan to focus his energy. Light blue wind energy enraptured his body. Tiny cyclones swirled around his arms and legs.

From Reverend's perspective, it looked as though Ruler passed straight through Musashi's head without so much as a scratch. However, a millisecond later, one could see the shadow of Mod behind Musashi jerk its head to one side and then back, showing the dragoon had actually dodged, though Musashi was still much faster in doing so.

Just as Reverend swung, Musashi eyes opened abruptly, flashing with the silver light of time magic. Looking right into Reverend's eyes, the stop spell took hold of Reverend's muscles, freezing his body in time, Anarchy millimeters from Musashi's exposed flesh. Musashi promptly delivered an upward knee thrust into Reverend's ribs, it's strength increased with the wind energy swirling around him, knocking Reverend out of the stop spell's hold and launching him still higher into the air. The dragoon flew beside Reverend, straight up and delivered a wind enhanced hammer blow with both hands clenched into the priest's back, sending him flying back towards the Earth.

Reverend dragged himself up from his landing with the earth, having left something of an outline of his body in the sanded floor. "Oi, Musashi! Just so you know, I'm admitting defeat. I can't defeat you as your control over time magic makes you too fast for myself to keep up. And once you realized you could out maneuver me, no move I had could stop you.

Reverend catches a returning Ruler, and packs his weapons. "Good fight man, there ain't a thing I can do against Divine AND time magic now. Looks like Riselm did see great things in you."

Musashi flies down and lights next to Reverend, his wings reforming into his cape. As soon as he did so, he fell to one knee, breathing hard but smiling as though he knows, or at least suspects, something the priest does not.

"Not yet perhaps... Still though...I never realized....just how powerful...you really are. That took...every trick in the book. You are the first...person to see...the Cherry Blossom Sword...put to use...after all."

Groaning from his energy expenditure Musashi slowly gets up to his feet, removes a package of Senzu pocky from his gi, and offers one to Reverend. After Reverend accepts it, and the two warriors are revitalized, Musashi offers his hand.

"Very good matchup, so you still buying? And yes, I'll take care of your dry cleaning." :p

Nibbling on senzu pocky, "done and done."
