Damn. I wish I would've known there was ACing poised to be going on at AWA. I LOOOVED that game. I played AC2 and the add-on to AC2 for the PS2 when they came out. The customizing was so much fun, and the battles were long and taxating. You really felt a sense of accomplishment, what with having to overcome the controls alot of the time, and the hoardes of powerful enemies. I had the fastest AC built up in AC2 and I played all the way through the Arena on that one too. That was by far my favorite part of that game. I sifted through the ranks like no ones business. The story took a back seat to my sweeping victories in the Arena. I got all the way to the top and after a couple of weapon and part changes, it was over and I was the top Raven. It was ever so satisfying. I think I'm gonna get the new AC game and start my obsession over again.

yea..i was an avid fan of the duels as well...i got good off of those fights. aside from that, missions never were really hard for me, since i have great hand-eye coordination.

Yeah...My least favorite missons were the ones where you had to jet through endless facilities and dispatch countless of the little spidermechs. Remember those? They were annoyingly time-consuming because you had to kill ever last one and then fight some beefy AC at the end. Too predictable and annoying. The train mission, and the mission where you had to protect that HUGE air base from the incoming enemy air units and then this fleet of ACs...Those were memorable.

I'm all for AC games. Though for me if the battles don't get too big enough it kinda trudges on for me. Makes the big ones all worth it though when you finally get hyped up for it.

I'm with Nog...So far AC Nexus is a dissapointment. The Garage has changed. One thing I don't like is that the part stats are really small and kind of hard to read. Also, you can't sell off your starting parts to at least buy a decent generator. The arena isn't there to look for fights...fights come to you like missions. And so far the missions have been really easy. I guess that's good since you can't buy decent parts off the bat. So far on a scale of lame to awsome, I give it a 4...that's only because I expect it to get better.
