Cobi's late, where is he? - Maybe he stopped to watch Shino and RG?

Sperrit enters the darkness, and a black mass awaits him in the furthest corner, punctuated by the glint off of purple sunglasses. Cobalt remains deathly silent, as if begging him to approach..

[Sperrit]

*Sperrit felt the tugging at the back of his mind as he leapt up to where Cobi was apparently 'hiding'. He knew it had to be a trap. I was too easy. He did, however, walk into it*
"Time to pet the kitty!"
*Sperrit drew back his fist again for a blow into the darkness where Cobi was waiting*
"So, do you want to recipe or not!"

Cobalt shakes off the illusion and the area regains its normal lighting, revealing a limb with the purple glasses resting on it. He then hops down behind Sperrit and pulls a "checkmate" move with his two knives along his neck ala Sora.*

"Sounds like a good deal. I'll be sure te remind ya once the match's over."

[Sperrit]

*Sperrit smiles*
"Nothing like a good recipe! I love food!"
*Suddenly Cobalt's knives go flying out of his hands to embed themselves in a tree trunk on the other side of the arena*
"Metal comes from the earth, and I AM an earth elemental!"
*Sperrit jumps back ("Ja JAN!") and lands neatly on a branch facing the now revealed Cobi*
"Knives aren't nearly as much fun as fist to fist!"
*Sperrit leaps from the branch, falling downward, only to land on the tip of a springy branch. Sperrit rockets back up towards Cobi, coming from underneath*

Cobalt hmphs and re-extends his claws.

"I guess when all's said and done, you neutralize my talents without breaking a sweat."

He reverts his fur color back to normal as Sperrit lands onto the tip of the bendy branch.

"Time to go back to square one."

As Sperrit begins to fly back upwards, Cobalt dives at top speed down at him in a pounce, tail fluttering in the wind to control his balence.

[Sperrit]

"Well, in the end it's square one that's most exciting!"
*The two rocket towards each other, Cobi with claws extended and Sperrit with...*
"Crud! I don't HAVE any claws!"
*Sperrit begins to see the latent flaw in this plan as he turns to do a kick. His kick connects, but his leg gets badly cut in the process. He lands on the forest floor, hard on his wounded leg*
"Great, now I gotta heal this thing!"
*Sperrit concentrates and his whole body starts to glow with the green energy. In seconds his cut close themselves up and there isn't even a scar. Sperrit, however, is looking winded*
"That takes WAY too much out of me."

Cobbi lands in a crouch about 10 feet away from Sperrit just as he finishes healing. He stands up and addresses the recovering opponent.

"Hey.. not too shabby.. For the life of me I didn't know ya had so much power when I first met'cha. Must take a man of extreme composure to be able to make nature bend to his will. I for one don't think I'd ever be able to handle those kind of powers as well at all. *he shakes his head and raises his brow* But I guess that's just the nature of what I am."

As Cobalt talks, his fur goes black again and he stands there with his arms crossed, pure casual in the middle of a battle.

[Sperrit]

"Indeed, and I could never really comand the powers that you do, the powers of spirit and energy. In the end you're also stronger than I am, physically. The only way that I'm able to keep up is by drawing Earth energy to supplement me, anyway, so how about this: One final attack, an end all to this whole mess, one final energy attack, and then we can go get something to drink at the pub, my treat. What do you say, brotha? Sound like a plan? I mean, I'm all for throw'n in the towel and calling it a draw, but we can't disappoint the spectators!"
*looks at the stands, sees Sakura*
"Okay, the spectaTOR. But how about it?"

Cobalt grins, pushing the glasses up on his muzzle slightly,
"Sounds like a plan, but I'm already one step ahead of ya~"

Through Cobbi's look of calm, the strain underlying the conversation begins to make itself apperant as his fur starts to stand on end, twinging with electricity. The furre uncrosses his arms and extends them to his sides, raising a few inches off the ground before launching upwards at a speed not recognizable by the human eye. A half-second later, seven transperant reproductions of Cobalt land surrounding Sperrit, all holding 7-foot-long spears of lightning. In synchronization, the glowing spectres twirl the staves and lunge towards the center of the wheel.
